I love competitive sport (watching and taking part) and have wide experience in sports working with the gently active individual, team player and fun runner right through to the elite athlete. I’m Elizabeth, and I am a highly skilled and experienced podiatrist. I’m passionate about treating people and committed to easing a nervous patients’ fears. I pride myself on providing the best patient-focused foot care so that you can get back to living your life in comfort. I qualified in 1990 at The London Foot Hospital and School of Podiatric Medicine, followed by postgraduate study at The University of Brighton. After graduation, I worked in London and across the South East, in both community and hospital podiatry. As the lead podiatrist in multi-disciplinary clinical teams, my interests developed in rheumatology and orthopaedics. My role became increasingly educational delivering informative seminars to clinicians, healthcare professionals and patient groups.
Moving from the NHS, I have benefitted from 20 years of private general practice, have built an extensive skill set and worked in varied clinical settings including GP practices, BUPA hospitals and in Nuffield Health. Meeting with, and treating, a diverse group of patients remains my absolute pleasure. Having relocated to Worcester, it’s great to be part of such a highly regarded team at SO Podiatry. I am a member of the Royal College of Podiatry and HCPC registered. During my free time I enjoy painting, walking my greyhound (Jeff) and spending fun time with my family
Fin Esah, Podiatrist
BSc (Hons) MRCPod & HCPC registered: CH34898.
Hi! I’m Fin the newest addition to the SO Podiatry family. My journey into podiatry began at the Northampton School of Podiatry, where I qualified. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working in various sectors of the Podiatry world. I’ve got experience in private practice, worked at the Northampton University School of Podiatry, as well as the NHS.
During my time in private practice, I managed a clinic and at Northampton University, I found my passion for nurturing the next generation of podiatrists by working closely with students mentoring them. This dedication to education also carried over into my role in the NHS, where I was nominated for a student educator award. In the NHS, my focus was on diabetic and high-risk foot care.
I’m absolutely delighted to be here in Worcester, back in the private sector, and ready to make a positive impact on the community. I’m looking forward to ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of service and podiatry that is truly second to none.
When I’m not busy with podiatry, you’ll find me enjoying quality time at home, whipping up delicious meals with my better half. I’m also a fan of staying active, I regularly go for a run, as I believe in practicing what I preach when it comes to maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
I can’t wait to meet you and assist you on your journey to happy, healthy feet!
Jodie Brookes Kavanagh, Clinic Receptionist and Administrator
Hi! My name is Jodie and I am the receptionist/administrator here at SO Podiatry.
I joined the team at the beginning of September 2022 having previously worked in the hospitality industry for over 10 years, I thought it was the right time for a change and to try something new-and I am glad I made that decision! I love to meet and greet everyone and I am a whizz with all things admin. I am the happy person at the end of the phone when you call. If you ever have anything you want to know about the practice I can find out the answer.
Away from work I love travelling with my partner, On my wish list is New Zealand! I really want to visit the magical city of New York at Christmas (my favourite time of the year)
I have learnt so much about Podiatry and how the practice works since settling in and I am excited to continue to work alongside the fantastic team!
Jen Sands, Virtual Assistant
Hi! I’m Jen. I love all things admin. I know right, someone’s got to! I work remotely supporting Steph and the team at SO Podiatry with all things admin, email marketing, and website development. Over the past 15 years, small businesses have worked with me to grow, improve their efficiencies, and enjoy their business again.
I’ve always been an admin-bod, and if something needs creating, systemising or managing, I’m just a message or phone call away! Away from work, I’m kept busy with my 3 children, crazy Whippet, and my husband who runs his own carpentry business (yes, my admin skills are put to use there too!). I also LOVE to play Netball and do so at least once a week in Norwich.
